Kristi Testa, Paralegal
Kristi Testa began working with Mark D. Kelly Criminal Defense as a Paralegal in April 2017. Prior to joining the law offices of Mark D. Kelly, Ms. Testa worked for ten years in various areas of the legal profession, including employment law, family law, banking and employment litigation.
Kristi has a huge passion for working in the criminal justice system, and she is dedicated to Mr. Kelly’s demanding case load, which makes her one of the best paralegals in this area.
Kristi assists Mark as an integral point of contact for the firm's clients, opposing counsel and court administration. In her free time, Kristi enjoys spending time with family and friends, watching baseball and football, while being available at all hours to troubleshoot issues for clients and their families. Kristi earned her Associate of Arts Degree in Paralegal Studies from Rasmussen College in June 2011.
Kyle began working at Mark D. Kelly Criminal Defense in April 2020. Kyle has been an integral part of Mark's law practice, researching legal issues, drafting memoranda, interviewing witnesses, in addition to writing content for our new website (soon to be launched). Kyle is a rising 2L at the University of Minnesota Law School. Prior to law school, Kyle attended the University of California - Santa Barbara, earning High Honors and graduating with Distinction.
Sawyer Shepard joined Mark D. Kelly’s Criminal Defense in 2019. Currently, Sawyer is working toward an economics and philosophy degree at Lake Forest College in Illinois. Some of his academic achievements include: Dean’s List (2017-2020), Presidential Scholarship (2017-2020), and the Roger A. White Scholarship in Philosophy (2019). After finishing his undergraduate studies, Sawyer plans to attend law school.
