Sawyer M. Shepard re-joined Mark D. Kelly Criminal Defense in May 2022 as a Paralegal / Law Clerk (he previously worked for our office as a legal intern in 2020). Sawyer graduated Summa Cum Laude in Philosophy and Economics from Lake Forest College in 2021. After graduating from Lake Forest, Sawyer worked for a corporate law firm in Chicago, Illinois, gaining valuable experience in tax, real estate and business law. Sawyer began law school in the Fall of 2023 and looks forward to pursuing a career in criminal defense. In his free time, Sawyer enjoys hockey, traveling, and spending time with his two dogs.
